Notes to TurboSFV v10.51:
In this new version, we focused on TurboSFV configuration settings: Some of them had to be adjusted and others come with new features. For example, there is one setting (hash auto calculation), which defines the maximal size of a file, for
which the calculation of checksums automatically starts on the shell property sheet page: hash. The maximal allowed value was 1 GB, which was much too high. This value is now limited to 256 MB file
size.
Another settings (days since last full check) defines the number of days, that TurboSFV keeps the validation results of a hash file. The lowest select-able value was 1, means that the results are kept at least for a day. Now, also 0 days
are allowed as a value, so that the validation results are not saved at all. As a consequence, the functionality of some other parts of the program is limited: For example, the functionality "Skip previously checked files" can't work without
that information. However, some users still prefer 0 days, so we leave it up to the user to
decide.
Then, we had a look on how the configuration is saved, because in rare cases it could happen, that TurboSFV thought, it was a new installation and had to provide default settings by resetting the configuration. It's actually not 100%
clear, what is the cause of the problem and we are still investigating. However, we have identified possible situations and implemented extra checks to work around the
problem.
Finally, there are three new styles, which are waiting for to be activated. As always, in the configuration you have to click on "Load Styles", which fills the list of available styles. From there, you can select one.
